Light a Candle
Mr. Daniel Lee (Dan the Man) DuPree, 65, died on January 2, 2021 at Medical City North Hills Hospital in Texas due to COVID. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious dimpled smile, loud unique laugh, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Early on in life Dan was a D.J. at various clubs in Milwaukee, which gave him the name he so often went by and loved, "Disco Dan". When he wasn't hard at work he loved to cook, go fishing, grill and sit on the patio with a cold beer, but his favorite was watching his Milwaukee home teams, especially The Packers. He loved to joke around, spend time with his grandkids, and was the life of the party. Dan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Survived by his mother, Mary DuPree preceded in death by his father Omar Dupree Sr. Beloved husband to Lettie (Lee); devoted father to his two daughters Tiffany (Jeff Harris), Lisa (Rondale Grisle); cherished grandfather to Cherisse, Tranae, Kamari, Charena, Kamren and Kingston; loving great grandfather to Amira; dear brother of Omar Jr., Larry Sr., Kenny, Bobby, Ray (Sara), Tamika(Eric); uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
